The block mill technology supports consistent dimensions across MS Flats, MS Angles, MS Squares, Z Angles and Gate Channels — from the first meter rolled to the last.

Straight Lengths and Flat Ends

Automated cooling further helps maintain straight lengths and flat ends after rolling, so 6-meter sections stay uniform instead of warping.

Chemical Analysis — Every Batch

Our quality control laboratory carries out chemical analysis using optical emission spectrometer testing to verify the composition of each batch.

Mechanical Property Verification

Tensile strength, yield stress and elongation are checked using calibrated testing equipment as part of systematic quality control.

The foundations of the SRMB Group were established in 1951 under the leadership of Late Radha Kishorji Beriwala.

1999

SAIL Conversion Agency

The group was appointed as an official conversion agent for the Steel Authority of India Limited, marking an important stage in its development within India's steel sector.

2000

Private Sector TMT Manufacturing Milestone

Through a technology partnership with HSE GmbH of Germany, the group established an early private-sector TMT manufacturing facility in India.

2003

X-Rib Design

The group introduced its patented X-Rib design for Fe 500 TMT bars, contributing to its development and innovation in the retail steel market.

2013

SRMB RealEdge

SRMB RealEdge was formally introduced with a focused mission to bring automated block mill technology to retail grill and gate sections.

2021

European Block Mill Upgrade

The Durgapur manufacturing facility was upgraded with high-speed, no-twist European block mill technology and automated cooling beds to improve manufacturing precision and consistency.
